Direto X: cadence shows random numbers + metallic knocking noise

Hi forum,

I own a Direto X trainer since spring 2020. Apart from 2...3 rides directly after purchase I started using it 6 weeks ago more frequently. I observe the following two issues:
- the cadence shows more or less random numbers. More or less means: sometimes it is stable at the right value for some seconds, sometimes it shows half the correct value and very often it jumps around btw. 20...250. In general it is rather useless. I learnt from the manual that cadence is calculated by an algorithm (FFT?), so I tried to pedal either very "stomping" or very "round", but could not observe any impact.
- every now and then, especially at low load, I feel a short loss of traction (really short...) combined with a metallic "klonk".It feels like chain slip on worn cogs... but both are brand new installed when setting up the trainer. I was not yet able to identfy where it exactly comes from. But sounds like from the inside of the trainer.
As I follow a training plan on Zwift I basically always run in ERG mode. Maybe this is important...
