Hi,
The cadence of the Justo seems really wrong. I had confirmation of this by installing other sensors on the crank, with magnet. Obviously, and other testimonies on the internet point out, at low cadence or at high cadence, the Justo is in trouble. Are you working to correct this point, and if so, how soon can we expect to have new firmware?

Re: Cadence: really wrong
Yes I noticed same issue. So I just use a Shimano shoe mounted Wahoo cadence sensor I bridge to the Justo. Easy to check if the Wahoo one is being used by pedaling backwards and checking cadence number. The Justo cadence sensor will read 0 when pedaling backwards.
Re: Cadence: really wrong
Hi,
A few months later the cadence is still not correct when it's lower than 60. Then it suddenly drops to 30-40 rpm.
I bought the Justo in december last year and this is wrong since than.
Hopefully there will be a software update to solve this.
Is there also a wordaround?

Re: Cadence: really wrong
The cadence is incorrect because you have a smooth pedaling style so take that as a complement. The trainer cannot sense enough of a power/speed increase when your legs are pushing down. I also have this problem and my Assioma Duo pedals report that I have a torque effectiveness of more than 90% because I ride a lot of time trials in real life with big gears. My solution is to make use of the excellent cadence bridge function to pull in the cadence from a cheap cadence sensor mounted on my left crank arm. Unfortunately Elite removed the ability to plug an actual hard wired cadence sensor into the Justo. This was my preferred solution on my previous Direto XR. As for a firmware update to improve the built-in cadence estimate I would not think this will be possible due to the limits of how cadence is estimated.

Re: Cadence: really wrong
My Justo 2 also has the problem of low cadence, using Sram force 2x10 speed.
Everything was normal in Zwift workout. After the workout, I didn’t stop riding but continued riding normally. The route I continued riding normally was ROAD TO SKY climbing. I weighed 80kg and the slope was very steep. I immediately switched to a lighter gear ratio. The wattage was over 200 watts, but the cadence was 30~40rpm. Increasing the gear ratio would increase the cadence, and the wattage would be very high. I might not be able to climb the slope. When the wrong cadence occurred, I immediately changed the zwift cadence sensor to SRAM QUARQ POWER METER and it became normal. Then I continued riding.
I don't think it has anything to do with whether the pedaling is smooth or not.

I would also like to add that in Zwift wrokout, my front chain ring is 50-34T, and the rear flywheel is 11-32T. When I adjust the gear ratio to the lightest 34-32, cadence 30~50rpm will appear. It is also abnormal to pedal to more than 100 rpm.
Re: Cadence: really wrong
I experience the same. Have a Garmin sensor on the crank that I use instead.
BUT: The problem becomes a major one as I am using the Square Frame now. The virtual shifting / resistance control obviously relies on the cadence. As the cadence does not match the real cadence in special situations (climbing) I now experience major peaks in resistance when shifting.
Is it possible to connect the Garmin cadence sensor with the Justo so that the exact cadence will be used? I also wonder why with the connected Sqaure they still rely on power peaks on each stroke to count the cadence. With the Square there is a know linear connection between the cranks and the spinning wheels.
I read in a German forum that a user returns his square because of the odd behavior when switching gears.

Re: Cadence: really wrong
Unfortunately, I am now also having problems with cadence measurement
And this has nothing to do with irregular pedaling!
For the first 24 months, my cadence was displayed correctly... but for the past few weeks, I have been experiencing constant drops in the measurement (instead of 90 RPM, it drops to 45 RPM for a few seconds/minutes).
Is there actually a customer service email address for Elite – or just this "customer self-care forum"?
How accommodating is Elite when it comes to repairs after the minimum warranty has expired?
