Elite Direto XR stopped working after failed upgrade

I had same issue. Finally, I unplugged direto from the power supply 30' and after that It started to work again.

I had the same problem this weekend. I have send the ticket, but i havent heard anything. Anyone knows how to fix??

Hi everyone, very similar experience. Trainer was working fine, did the upgrade using the Upgrado app on Android (Samsung) now the resistance is too high to pedal; can't calibrate anything because I can't spin. Submitted a ticket yesterday. Very annoyed.

As much as I'd like Elite to just post the solution, could anyone else who's been here and had it sorted out share anything? (Even if it's just "They can't post a solution because they have to upload something directly...")

I’m going through this same scenario right now. I’ve put in a ticket, but did you all find a solution through customer service? How long did it take to resolve?

Mine did the same after failed upgrade attempt to the firmware.
connecting to power only gives the normal start up noise but no lights turn on and cannot locate it in the upgrado app.
have open a ticket on the problem.
Can it be fixed ?

Hello everyone. Same issue as everyone else. Firmware update bricked my trainer... on a Xiaomi 15 phone. Love it to happen on a weekend. Great communication policy by Elite since this issue seems to have been known since 2022...

The Upgrado app did the same to my Direto XRT.
Reading all the posts and considering the fact that is is after warranty period I am just wondering...
Is this Upgrado BUG or is this Upgrado FEATURE

Have you opened a support ticket with Elite? I'm sure that they'll try and help you, even if your trainer is out of warranty.

yes, the Elite guys helped me wonderfully !
It took exchanging 2 emails and they gave me working procedure and even a short movie how to fix the issue.
Everything was very clearly explained and the response very quick.

It turns out my doubts in customer service were absolutely unjustified - my apologies for that.
