Two problems :-)

Postby 0607333284 » Mon Feb 07, 2022 9:41 am

Hello,
I bought a Suito home trainer and received it this weekend.
I put my CANYON gravel bike on it.
It is a bike with only one chainring on the crankset.
First problem: The bike doesn't fit properly because I'm missing the "F" part. How can I get this part back?
Second problem: On my Gravel bike, I have a SRAM XG-1275 Eagle 10-50 12s system. So, when I install it on the Home Trainer with its integrated system (Shimano 105 11-28), it is more difficult to pedal, obviously!
Do you think I can install the SRAM XG-1275 Eagle 10-50 12s system on the Suito Home Trainer with the SRAM XD/XDR adapter n°1014279 ?
Thank you in advance for your answers.

Bonjour,

In fact, I found the ''F'' piece that was hidden in another piece !
Indeed, it works much better.

hi, i prefer to answer you in english

with a 11-28 cassette it's harder, but it depends on your use. If you work in level mode or ERG mode, where the trainer keeps the power, you didn't feel any difference, if you want to use a simulator, like zwift, bkool and similar you feel the difference

Anyways you can buy a NX or GX cassette 11-50, much cheaper, and fits on the standard freehub, with the elite provided spacer

Yes, I do use the "Kinomap" application.
I have ordered the adapter that will allow me to use my SRAM cassette.
Thank you for the advice to buy an NX or GX cassette, it will save me from dismantling and reassembling my cassette on my Gravel.

Probably also Kinomap, as Zwift does, there's a trainer sensitivity to be setup, that allow you to avoid the need of really low gears for big climbs, for example let you feel a 10% climb as a 5% climb, but moves you depending on power you put on pedals

I wrote wrong, you can mount NX or SX cassette on standard freehub, not GX that need an XD freehub

To use your SRAM XG-1275 Eagle 10-50 12s cassette on the Suito home trainer, you would typically need an XD or XDR freehub body, as the SRAM Eagle cassettes use the XD driver. The adapter you mentioned (SRAM XD/XDR adapter n°1014279) is designed for this purpose.
