I plugged in again today the HT and I tested again - - > same issue.
If I go for my e training, training by level, when I increase the level I can hear a small noise in the device, which I guess is the motor to move the magnetic system, but simply nothing more happen. Usually there is some bigger noise which is not happening anymore. I m going to contact the support. A device broken after a month only, less than 1000km, for a price of 700€... And not being the only one...

I got a reply from the support and I need to iterate with them, sending video and so on. But the support guy suggested a problem with the motor having lost its zero position, and so my understanding then not being able to move.
I'll keep you posted folks.

Just got answer from the support. Looks like one electronic board, at least one of its components, is dead. They are sending the replacement part and they already provided me with the procedure.
The board is free of charge.

I saw in another post this happened to another person, but after some time the new board had again the same problem. Hopefully Elite could resolve this quality issue with their provider and on my side it will be fine.

At least, even being disappointed that a new device get an issue that soon, I'm satisfied with the support from Elite: responsive and not rejecting anything on me. I mention it because I saw other members here having different experience. Hopefully I won't need them again.

Support has also gotten back to me and they are sending a replacement mother board.

I am glad they have provided a solution to my issue. I hope they know the cause of the problem and have an updated mother board version. I really hope not to be on this situation again in 6 months.

Hi guys,

having new issues with my Elite Nero. Since I did the update the spindown gives me a value of about 7800, which relates in horrible resistance in Zwift. I suddenly can hardly reach 150 watts in flat without having the feeling of an 6% slope.
Doing a spindown in Zwift results in the same intense resistance.

Seems like the software is buggy or something.
Anyone having the same problem with the ELite Nero?

Update on my situation. I received the motherboard yesterday and I replaced the broken one. The operation itself is OK, even if there is not much space to access the wires and plugs.

Now I see the motor moving and this morning I had a ride on zwift where everything went perfect.

Hopefully it won't happen again.

Support was good, but you have to contact them directly as they are maybe not following much the forum.
