Direto - Trainer road in erg mode - not adjusting to meet power numbers

Postby pkelly » Wed Dec 20, 2017 11:50 am

Hi,

I did a session on Trainerroad this morning. It was a standard trainer road session. I only purchased the Directo last week, it is my third session on the trainer. This morning, the wattage stuck around 130 even though the power was say 220 on trainer road. It was running in erg mode. I had a wahoo and never experienced this. I kept at it for 40 mins but regardless of power trainer road was prescribing, the direto never adjusted to the number.

Any ideas what could be wrong? I didn't change gears.

How many often does it happens? It may be a disconnection.
Please try also with our my e-training app and let me know if you have the same issue there.

I'm experiencing the same issue as of last week.

I have been using the trainer for over a month without any issues.
The power accuracy seemed correct before, with and without ERG mode active.

Currently ERG mode does not work for me: wattage is stuck at 120-150, even though I'm pushing it to 250 in my training.

Even without ERG mode active, the wattage feedback is wrong when I'm doing a climb.
A steep climb feels exactly the same as a flat road in Zwift.

I have also confirmed all of the above in the MyETraining desktop app.

I've also send a mail to customer care.

I really hope this can be resolved. But seeing all the issues online this has gotten me worried.

Kind regards
