DRIVO 2 Not aligned with frame

Postby oeubuzz » Wed Aug 05, 2020 3:34 pm

Hi, having just purchased and mounted my bike to a Drivo 2 it appears that the frame is not in line with the trainer (the trainer is angled and points to the left) also the handle of the trainer is nearly touching the left hand seat stay.

I've put three different bikes on it now and the problem is the same.

I've attached some pictures.

Many thanks

Peter

Sorry, forgot to ask the question and just made a statement:

Is it normal for the Drivo 2 to be unusually aligned like this??

Hi

Please check the position of the forks, it seems that they are not well hooked down from the photos

Checked and checked again, frame is fitted correctly as far as the rear drop outs are correctly seated, still out of alignment.

Please contact the customer care at info@elite-it.com.
Add some more photos. Take them as on axis as possible, with all the details, so the mechanics can check it

Same with me..
Cassette installed correctly
Dropout adaptor for quick release installed correctly
Frame dropouts nice and snug, bedded down.
Bike is vertical (not at an angle)
The whole unit is not aligned.
Gears are a bit too noisy.

There is a few reports of this now, I’ve sent pics to elite directly, so far I’ve been told to check the bike is fired correctly which it is. Not a lot of help which is disappointing, I wouldn’t expect this at any price. But the Drivo 2 is expensive.
Please let me know if you have more success than me

I have the same issue with the gears, far too noisy, given that the cassette appears to be pointing in a different direction to the chainset its hardly surprising.
