Elite Drivo 2 position on rocker

Postby phil.leschnik » Thu May 12, 2022 8:53 am

Elite Drivo 2 position on rocker question, can anyone help out? my rocker base will be 900mm wide, do I position my trainer on the centreline, or offset - see the photos below for where the approx centreline on the BB is and where the centerline is on the trainer. And disregard the cleanliness of the bike, it's my commuter, which will be used on the trainer.

First photo - center of bottom bracket
Second photo - centre of traner fron foot

And my training matt has lost most of the printed pattern, only about a year old - not a good advert for the supplier.

I positioned it on the middle of the bottom bracket - you want your weight to be centered on the rocker plate.

If the slight weight imbalance when you’re not on the bike bothers you (I did for me) then you can add a couple of kg’s to the right side of the rocker to balance out the drivo flywheel weight.
