Will my bike fit into elite direto trainer

Hello
I would like to use my mtb bike (grand canyon 5.9) with the elite direto trainer. I already tried my bike with tacx flux and it dindn't fit.
The problem was that the distance from the middle of back wheel to the end of rear derailleur pulley was to big and the pulley was touching the trainer, so it would be impossible to ride the bike. So I would like to know if my bike will fit the elite direto trainer.
The distance beetwen the middle of the wheel to the edge of the gear of the rear derailleur is 22cm.
The model of the derailleur is: Shimano Deore XT Shadow.
The cassette is Shimano Deore 11-36
