Hi all,
I am having difficulties setting my MTB Sgimano XT 12-speed 10-51 casette to work as expected...
I replaced the freehub with the correct one https://www.elite-it.com/en/products/ho ... e-12-speed
No matter what I do, the casette / drivetrain is noisy...
It is a brand new trainer + freehub + casette + chain, it works perfectlly on the bike.
As I put it on the trainer, the casette is noisy in every gear... I have tried to adjust the rear dereilleur but the noise just doesn't stop
Should I place some kind of a spacer/shim between the freehub and casette? Please help, the noise is driving me crazy

Re: Direto XR-T + Shimano XT 12 speed 10-51 cassette
Hi
Usually no spacers are needed (but it depends also on the cassette).
The best thing to do is to contact your trusted bike mechanic. Probably it's only a matter of adjustment of the gear.
If also with the mechanic you can't make the noise disappear, you can also contact our support (but usually it's easier to solve it through a mechanic because he can get his hands on it)
