Dear All,

A few weeks ago I received my Elite Direto XR from a large German bicycle mail order company. Unfortunately, the smallest sprocket was so close to the frame(Canyon Ultimate Cf Disc) that it was damaged by the chain.

With two different wheelsets(Mavic, DT Swiss) this error did not occur. With the meanwhile purchased by me TACX roller trainer also did not occur this problem.

On the pictures I have inserted you can see the damage, the problem and that I have mounted the trainer correctly.

The store said only that the trainer is fine and that they can not take care of it further. Maybe you can comment on this.

From your photos, it seems that you have a thru axle bike.
If it is so, are you sure to have mounted properly the adapter?

Be careful: if you have a boost thru axle (148x12mm) you have to purchase the proper adapter:

Yes, it is a 142x12 axle.
On the Picture below you can see, that I mounted the trainer correctly.

All seems correct.

- serial number of the trainer
- model of the bike
- the photos you've sent here
- a video in which you show how you mount it and the part that touch the frame

I seem to have the same problem with my bike.
the chain gets to close to the frame and i'm sure use the proper adapters (thru axle 12x142) and that they are mounted properly.

Did you manage to resolve the problem? And what is the solution for it ?
