Elite Direto XR and Trek Emonda SL5 2021

Postby squall34 » Tue May 25, 2021 12:59 pm

Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone has had any issues with a Direto XR and 2021 Emonda SL5 set up?

I ask as I'm aware that there were some issues with the emonda and Kickr Core with some rubbing against the frame. The Emonda is listed as non compatible with the Kickr.

I've sought advice from the manufacturer (Elite) but am yet to get a response.

I'm yet to purchase the XR.. Just want to make sure it's compatible with my bike.
Thanks!

Hi

I've checked your bike model and it seems quite standard.
Usually there are no compatibility problems with Trek Bikes on Direto, so I don't think you'll have any issue.
But I can't be 100% sure as there are so much bike models and we cannot test them all on our trainers.

Anyway, as you've contacted our customer care service, wait also their reply

Regards

Thanks for your reply-

Elite have responded similarly, that the bike should be compatible with the XR but it cannot be guaranteed.

I'll take the plunge and buy the XR... and hope for the best!

For those in the future who may ask the same question... there are NO compatibility issues with an Direto XR and a 2021 Emonda SL5 and everything works a treat :D
