Direto Power Sensor

Hello, I'm hoping someone can help. When configuring my Direto time should I select both cadence and power on the menu option (see attachment). When I do select both, it picks up the cadence sensor fine but cannot find the power sensor (see attachment).

Am I doing something wrong here?

Hi

You have to select them only if you want to use external cadence or power sensors.
Otherwise, you have to leave them on "no" (the app will then receive the power and cadence value from Direto)

Can you advise why the system is picking up a cadence sensor then when I don't have anything external running/attached?

I am contemplating buying a Direto since I have a problem with my Tacx:
whilst doing interals and changing from 100 watts in recess up to 400 watts during intervals the trainer jumps from one second to the next 300 watts up which is impossible to pedal
thus I have to programm 5 sec increments at 20 watts from one level to the next which is a nuissance
Do the Elite trainers have a smooth transition or can I programm a smooth curve on the training app??
Thanks for feedback
Marc

Direto has an internal motor that adjusts the resistance, so the change is always gradual.
