Trainer accuracy after calibration

Hi,
I recently tightened the belt drive on my Direto trainer. The calibration value was 6527 and the value under the trainer was 6532. After a few turns I managed to increase the tension to 6532 during calibration on the Elite app. I have since found however that my power output is markedly lower when using Zwift. I seems to have dropped around 30-40 watts. Could this be due to the tightening? Unforunately I don't have a second power meter to verify the accuracy so I'm unsure as to whether the trainer was accurate before or after the adjustment.
I also find that my power in Zwift fluctuates quite a lot (+-20 watts) even though my perceived effort is the same. Could this be due to tightening or perhaps the connection with Zwift software?
