Direto trainer has to turned on each time?

Hello, I'm new to this forum as a user of the Direto. Do I have to turn the power on each time I want to ride? The powerplug is in but the lights are off. When I remove the powerplug and put it back in again the light turn on. I use Rouvy as software.
