Strange calibration value

Postby roy.nield27 » Mon Aug 21, 2023 10:46 pm

My Direto XR-T has a factory calibration value of 6,428. It has now started giving calibration values around 16,000. The power figures are still accurate compared to my Assioma Duo pedals. What could be the problem here as I can no longer see if the calibration value has dropped enough to require the belt to be tensioned or replaced? Thanks.

Open a support ticket with Elite so that they can work this through with you.

Elite have told me that there is a bug in their MyEliteTraining app and that it now reports the wrong value and will be fixed in the next update. It is 2 months since they told me this and nothing has changed. Frankly I don't believe them as nobody else has reported the same problem here or on any other social media platform. I have asked them to look again at my case as my trainer is coming up for 2 years old and will soon be out of warranty. I think it needs a repair or replace.

For anybody following I finally got an explanation from Elite. There is indeed a bug in MyEliteTraining affecting calibration of my trainer but... only when connected to via ANT+ as my Galaxy S9 can do. When connected to via Bluetooth there is no problem which is why nobody else may have seen the problem. Still waiting on a new version of MyEliteTraining.
