Volano Smart B+

Hi,

Is there any way to connect the Volano Smart B+ to My e-training desktop?

Yes, it is possible.

You have to use the beta version of the software.
To download it:
- go to this page: http://www.elite-it.com/en/products/glo ... e-training
- click on "click to download"
- click on "participate to the beta phase"

Remember that your pc must support the bluetooth LE communication (you need windows 10 and your pc hardware must have the bluetooth LE inside).
Otherwise, you'll need a usb ant+ dongle.

I tried and it's actually working. I tried to ride with Google maps and found it buggy. When zooming in it crashed a few times. Even after a complete ride it crashed when saving. Hope it will be a final and stable release soon!

BTW, I had the Volano and a heart rate monitor (wahoo tickr) connected through Bluetooth.

I tried the beta today. I connected both the Volano and a HR-monitor (wahoo tickr) through Bluetooth. It has some issues. I took a ride with Google maps. It crashed a few times. Even after a complete ride it crashed when saving. Hope there will be a final and stable release soon.

Mikael,

for us is important to understand the cause of this kind of issues.
Please run my e-training Desktop and click on the support icon (upper right corner). A windows with lot of information will appear.
Then write to our customer care at myetraining@elite-it.com adding all those information and a description of the issue.
If you get any error when the software crashes, add also a screenshot of the error.
Finally, also in windows search box type the word "cmd". A dos prompt will appear. Type in the word "ver" and you'll be replied with the build version of your windows os. Add also this in the email.
