Geo Mapping Course Build

I don't seem to be able to create a new Geo Mapping Course on the desktop version of My E Training.
I can produce a map on the mobile app - it then shows on the desktop version and I can edit it and adjust the ride etc.
However - when I try to create one on the desktop - I press create - enter the race name, race type etc and then press create and I get a RED BOX in bottom right of screen which is empty and no maps appears on screen.
Nothing happens.
I have updated My E Training and have the latest version prior to trying to create maps.
There is full access to the internet.
