According to APK PURE the Android version of MyEtraining was last updated in August 2021. According to the Apple App store the iOS version of MyEtraining was last updated in April 2021. Since then there have been numerous reports of problems with the software, and numerous promises by Elite that these will be fixed in the next update which is due "soon". I think it really is time we all asked Elite what "soon" means to them. When in fact can we expect an update to this software? Can Elite please provide a truthful date, that would help many of those customers who have really been trying hard to be loyal to Elite. On the other hand if Elite are not going to support their software any longer I think we would all like to know, so that we can stop breaking our brains trying to make it work, and start working with other third party software.

The deadline for this update is the 1st of October, but maybe it will be released sooner than this.

Good news!

Its good news that Elite have at last given their users a date for their updated software.

However based on their performance to date I am not convinced they will make their October deadline. Currently it seems Elite issue an update every 12 to 18 months. Compare that with Kinomap who issue updates to their software roughly every 2 weeks, for both Android and iOS versions. Furthermore Kinomap covers a range of fitness equipment and sport types far greater than Elite. Is there perhaps a lesson here for Elite?

At least we now know that the word "soon" from an Italian could mean anything from 5 minutes to 5 years. Its as bad as the word "moment" from a South African.

Here's the changelog:

• automatic configuration added
• Justo added to the trainer models list
• KLM import function improved
• guided voice added to workouts, videos and map courses (for classic trainer only)
• asymmetric repeats to the program editor added
• segments multiple selection added in the program editor
• in FTP based program, increased the max percentage to 300%
• added the possibility to start a map course from a certain km
• added the possibility to organize the workouts in folders, to duplicate them and to rename them
• added the option to change level/power using the +/- keyboard keys (for Desktop version)
• avg normal power (3/5/10s) added to the personalized screen view
• bike weight added in the settings
• my realvideo can now be researched by nation

Unfortunately one old bug has been "fixed" but made worse. Previously under MyRealVideo details the map was centered in the east when the route was in the western hemisphere and in the north when the route was in the southern hemisphere. So obviously it was treating negative latitude and longitude as positive. Now ALL routes center the map off the coast of Equatorial Guinea - at Latitude and Longitude zero. Plus the fixes were not retrofitted to the database so only new routes have corrected max and min slope and the new map centering issue only applies to new routes. Old routes still exhibit the same issue as before.

About max/min slope, we are still working on it.

About the other issue, I confirm you that some of the old videos have this problem. We'll check it.
But the new courses seem ok... can you please give me the ID of one of this new realvideos that has this issue?
Can you also tell me which device are you using (Android, iOS, Windows or Mac)?
I'll forward the information to the developers to fix it.
