Training with maps course

Postby lisarzheng » Sat Jan 29, 2022 9:00 pm

I was able to import maps with my outdoor rides recorded by other app in my e-training. When I select a course and start training (by clicking the green arrow button), I was able to see myself moving along the course. However, the training session data exported to Strava does not contain map and location info. Is there a way to include both information? Isn't it the whole point?

Hi

I'm sorry, our export functions only exports training data (power, speed, cadence...) and not altimetry or position.

Regards

I've seen other postings in this forum that ask the same question, with the same response: our export function doesn't provide altimetry or position. OK, but it's obvious that both the altimetry and position data are available, as that data is in the maps course that's being used for the workout. Given that most users of My E-Training use other programs such as Strava, TrainerRoad, etc. to record their training, that it would be great if someone at Elite took it upon themselves to add altimetry and position to export files where the data is available? Being able to ride courses is a great feature of My E-Training, I'm certain that if a more capable export function were added that supports the needs of Elite customers, that more people would pay for the yearly subscription to My E-Training, and make the investment in improving the software worth the effort.
