Heart rate monitor not pairing with myEtraining app

I have a heart monitor belt (WAHOO) from which is bluetooth smart, It connects/functions well with my Garmin device
However, it does not connect to my (new) Elite Suito trainer.
I also tried the following procedure
- removed the battery from the belt
- restarted my phone (Iphone)
- ran my e-training app
- put again the battery on the belt and wear it
- tried to do the pairing (via configuration procedure)
However, I still cannot connect to it.
Training without heart rate information is useless for me.
This is pretty annoying for me!
Please provide me with clear information how to solve this problem.
