Elite Qubo Digital Smart B+ trainer won’t pair with iPhone

I’m struggling to pair my Elite Qubo Digital Smart B+ trainer with my iPhone 6s. The Bluetooth settings page recognizes the trainer and provides the code but when I go to the My E-Training app to input the code, it disappears from the settings not allowing me to hit the pair button. I believe the problem stems from having to switch between the apps. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Any guidance as how to get the two to pair?
