I was using the excellent smart trainer REALTOUR B+ for many months. But now, when I plug in the power supply there are no typical starting noises any more. Even the red LED starts lighting only after replugging after a couple of times. What's wrong? Of course there is no connecting via ANT+ any more.
Is it possible to cause a short by touching the cadence sensor socket with the power plug?
I am very grateful for help. Any idea before I have to make a claim under the warranty?
Best regards,
Tobias Schuster

Re: Electronic problems
Hi Tobi
It seems that the electronic board has broken, indeed.
You could have caused a short in that way (rare, but possible), if the board is one of our first production. We've added some special varnish to avoid this kind of issue, after some time.
Please contact our customer care at real@elite-it.com adding:
- an explication of the issue (or a link to this discussion)
- the serial number of your RealTour
- when and where did you buy the trainer - the bill of purchase - to check warranty
Regards
