Elite Kura Power accuracy

Postby jfloreso » Tue Feb 20, 2018 3:48 pm

I have recently taken a 20 minutes test using Trainer Road software. According to the outcome, I have generated 154 average power over 20 minutes with an average speed of 20,91Km/h. ( average 89 cadence )

According to the Power curves from the Kura, I should be generating over 200 Watts. Since I am only at 154 Watts at that speed, I am wondering whether I have my unit properly calibrated from factory.

I performed a calibration using My E-Training App about 3 weeks ago.

We suggest to do a calibration every 3-4 weeks of use.
Also, consider that every Kura is different from another, so the curves of the trainers are similar but not equal.

To check the behavior of the trainer in details, please follow these instructions.
Please do a calibration and take note of the offset value you get.
Do also a training in this way: 1' at 5km/h, 1' at 10km/h, 1' at 15Km/h, 1' at 20km/h and so on til your max. Export the training in tcx or csv format.

Then contact our customer care at real@elite-it.com adding your serial number, the offset you get and the exported training. Add also a reference to this post in the forum.

Regards
