Elite Direto Belt Replacement and NOW Slipping

Postby MasterShoei » Sat Sep 26, 2020 4:36 pm

Hi Elite,

I recently just replaced my belt and pulley for the first time since purchasing my trainer in late 2017. I had to because the pulley had rusted from sweating so much.

I purchased a belt and pulley replacement kit directly from you. Now that I've replaced the belt and pulley my trainer has started slipping as soon as I put strong force on the pedals. This usually is around 4.5w/kg on Zwift and I weight 73kg. Under that the belt does not slip. Occasionally the trainer clicks quite a bit at the start of riding as well, but that quickly goes away. I have calibrated my trainer to the exact setting on the bottom of the trainer and gone through the exact procedures that your instructional video says to.

Do you have any idea what's causing this issue?

Thanks for your time.

Richard
