How do I recalibrate Smart Novo?

I got Novo II from Halfords last month and have being running it most days on Zwift since without too much trouble. Occasional drop in connection but temporary. But last few days it has been like pedalling in treacle, the resistance coming back on a flat course felt like I going up a wall.

Last time I had some connection issues, I tightened the back connection to the wheel, and it seemed to iron out my issues. That hasn't changed anything this time. So two options I think.

So do I need to change the tyres
Or is there a firmware issue, and I see people talk about recalibration of the trainer

Do you have the same problem using my e-training?
If it is so, contact our customer care at myetraining@elite-it.com.
Otherwise, it must be some configuration issue in Zwift.
