Drivo ERG mode

I have a Drivo that is about 1 month old. Until yesterday it worked flawlessly. Now, when I try to do a workout using ERG mode, it immediately sets the resistance so high that I can't turn the pedals. This happens in both zwift and the My E-training app.

Zwift can control the resistance when not in ERG Mode. Any ideas on how to resolve this, or has the trainer failed?
