DIRETO X - "Quick release" too short?

Hello,

I have bicycle Merida 19 REACTO DISC 4000 2019., and this week my new Elite Direto X has arrived. I have mounted Shimano CS-R7000 11/32 cassette.

My problem is that if I mount part "C" (Chainstay adapter) the part "W" (Quick release) is too short to hook on the other side.

Is it possible to mount it without using the "C" part?

Can you help me?
