Cadence on RealAxiom Wired is going crazy

Postby black_knight_qc » Mon Jul 03, 2017 10:16 pm

I just reinstalled the cadence sensor on my RealAxiom wired trainer. After some tuning with a multimeter, I finally found a way to have the sensor correctly detected. I started my training and in the beginning, everything was fine but after a couple of minutes, the reading went crazy: dropped to 5 for a while then back to 60 for a couple of seconds then to 5, 30, 10, 60, ... though I was pedalling constantly.

What can I do to fix this?

Hi

Usually this kind of issue is due to wrong positioning of the magnet/sensor.
So, first verify the distance between the sensor and the magnet. The magnet must pass very close to the tip of the sensor (around 1mm).

If this is not the cause of the issue, please verify also if there is a good coupling between the jack of the sensor and the connector on the trainer (it must be steady)

Let me know
