Suito power low

Postby americo8855 » Tue May 12, 2020 2:24 pm

Hello

I recently got the Suito and after the calibration I had a few rides to test it out. I noticed that the power reasons are low compared to my usual so I did a ride with the Favero Assioma and as suspected the power is too low. I did recalibrate but it’s the same.

What should I do?

Here is another file comparison

https://www.zwiftpower.com/analysis.php?set_id=34203

The Suito power is about 15 % less compared to the Assioma Favero.

I did recalibrate and have another quick spin, but the power is still low.

Hi

A difference between the power sent by the trainer and the power sensor may be present.
It's due to the fact that we measure power on the hub during final testing, instead the power sensor measures it on the crank. This adds some friction.

Of course a 15% is too much.

Please be sure that both the trainer and your power sensor are calibrated.
Also, ve sure that the difference in power is constant (it shouldn't vary from one day and another, otherwise the problem is on the power sensor)
Finally, do a test in my e-training and check if you have the same difference there.

If the error remains and you have it also in my e-training (and it is almost constant), contact the customer care at myetraining@elite-it.com

I just did another ride and tested both power meters, as you can see the values are again off by 15 % or so. Way too much

Same problem.

Up to 300w everything is ok, but above the big differences start, with peaks of difference close to 80W less.

I have already tested with two PowerMeters.

I have already calibrated several times, after heating the roll, etc ...

How to solve the problem?

Hello,

Same problem for me too...
15w between suito and assioma pedals.
Calibration do nothing.
With zwift power has no sense.

Thank you for your help

Same here. For efforts higher than 200 watts, Suito reads aproximately 20 watts lower than my 4iiii PM. Calibration doesn't help at all :(
