Mine has developed a similar new noise - a bad sounding grind that is worrying and NOT normal.
Have you had yours issues resolved - I am contacting Elite with my sound recording

I had been using my DiretoXRt with Fulgaz since Oct 2022 on some steep 25% gradients without issue. Recently it has developed a real grinding noise - coincidently since i used a Zwift free month voucher - are they connected? Also get occasional stiff - near impossible to crank the pedals.
